Source: Music Business Worldwide — Grok Bot Will Use Suno Models
Elon Musk says Grok Bot will select outside models—including Suno, Anthropic’s Claude and Midjourney—according to which system is most likely to produce the best result for a task.
The announcement suggests that music requests submitted through the agent may be routed to Suno instead of handled by a native Grok model. Musk did not specify which tasks will use Suno or when the music integration will become available.
Important implementation details remain unanswered. Suno does not offer a generally available public API, and neither company has explained how users’ prompts, output rights, watermarks, subscriptions or commercial-use permissions would work when a song is generated through Grok Bot.
Why it matters: Suno could reach users who never visit a dedicated AI music service. Artists should nevertheless wait for published product terms before assuming that music created through an agent carries the same download and commercial rights as music made through a paid Suno account.
