Source: Music Business Worldwide — Suno Is “Far Beyond” Its Previous Subscriber and Revenue Figures
Suno CEO Mikey Shulman says the company is now “far beyond” its last disclosed figures of 2 million paid subscribers and $300 million in annual recurring revenue, although he did not provide updated totals.
Speaking at Bloomberg Screentime on October 1, Shulman also described a future built around licensed remixes, covers, mashups and co-creation with established artists. That direction could make artist participation and rights agreements central to Suno’s next phase.
Shulman argued that AI music’s rules should be determined collectively while the technology and its uses are still changing. That is a company position, not a settled legal standard, and the industry’s copyright disputes remain unresolved.
The business signal is clear: generative music is attracting paying users at meaningful scale. The unanswered question is whether product growth, licensing and creator compensation can mature together.
