Suno has hired former Ticketmaster executive Michael Chua as Vice President and General Manager of Suno Live Experiences, giving him responsibility for the AI music company’s live operations and concert-discovery platform Songkick.

Suno says Chua’s team will connect Songkick’s concert-discovery data with Suno’s creative platform and improve recommendations designed to move more fans from online discovery into live venues.

Chua previously led global business development and strategic partnerships at Ticketmaster. His work included integrations with Google, YouTube, Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok and Snap that helped users discover events and buy tickets through outside platforms.

Suno acquired Songkick from Warner Music Group in November 2025 as part of the agreement that settled Warner’s copyright lawsuit against the company. Suno says artists in its Spark incubator will be a central focus of the live-experiences team.

Why it matters: Suno is expanding beyond generating songs into artist development, fan discovery and live events. The strategic test will be whether AI-assisted artists can convert digital attention into real ticket buyers and sustainable careers.
